Masted of Nursing UMY collaborates with Chubu Gakuin University in Joint Research Project

As the center of science and technology development, higher education has an important role in improving the quality of life of mankind, with a variety of activities in the field of research, academic and community service. To strengthen its roles in as the center of science and technology development, It’s important for universities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Master of Nursing Program UMY has strong commitment to be the part of the center of science development especially in nursing science, hence Master of Nursing UMY has built collaboration with various hospitals and universities both in Indonesia and in Asia.
Master of Nursing Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta currently has started a Joint Research Project with Faculty of Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chubu Gakuin University Japan. Dr. Titih Huriah as the Deputy of the Master of Nursing UMY explained that the Joint Research between Master of Nursing UMY with the Faculty of Nursing and Rehabilitation Chubu Gakuin University Japan, will be implemented on an ongoing basis over three years, and today will be began with joint research project on Elderly Patient Care in Southeast Asian Countries. In addition to the collaboration in the field of research, in his speech at the MoA signing ceremony between the Master of Nursing UMY and The Faculty of Nursing and Rehabilitation CGU, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, dr. Ardi Pramono, also hope that there will be collaboration in other fields such as students exchange and staff exchange.
The ceremony of MoA signing between Master of Nursing UMY and Faculty of Nursing and Rehabilitation CGU on Monday, 21 March 2016 was also attended by The Head of School of Nursing UMY, and The Director of Postgraduate Program UMY.
