Master of Nursing UMY hold public lecture on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at Posgraduate Building 3rd Floor Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Prof. Dr. Budi Anna Keliat, SKp, MAppSc, lecture of Nursing UI became the speaker on the public lecture.
These activity attended by master of nursing’s students UMY on 2nd semester, especially who took Psychiatry. On her presentation, Prof. Budi Anna Keliat presented three main topics about psychiatry, that are Nurse Therapeutic Communication in The Hospital, The Diagnosis of Psychiatry, and Psychiatry Health Service. Generally, she delivered several things about psychiatry’s handle in Indonesia, which covered psychiatry health’s need, psychiatry health’s policy, and psychiatry service community based. Besides, she also said about how important to have standart of study that capable for a nurse of master graduate than bachelor or associate graduate.
After presentation session, activity of public lecture continued by question and answer session with the speaker and did some practices. In this section, Prof. Budi Anna Keliat asked the students to do simulation about the implementation of three materials that has discussed.
